Admissions to Year R September 2021  


16th April 2021 is the national notification date for parents who applied on-time for a Year R place for September 2021. 


Parents are asked to confirm the acceptance of the Year R place with evidence of their child's date of birth and address. 


However, to comply with social distancing requirements and minimise the spread of Covid-19, we will be asking you not to visit the school with your evidence until invited to do so.  


We will contact you during the week commencing 19th April (after the Easter holidays), to arrange a time for you to come in .


In the meantime, we have set up a dedicated Gmail address for parents. You can ask any questions on there and we will use this email address to make initial contact with you.

In order to support parents, schools and the Admissions Team at this busy time, Hampshire County Council are putting the following arrangements in place: 


If for any reason you are unhappy with your school offer we advise you to go to the Hampshire admissions website: 

  • will link to Frequently Asked Questions pages that provide answers to most queries, including what to do if parents haven’t received the outcome of their application or if they are unhappy with the school offer received.   
  • there will also be a webchat function to to address straightforward queries quickly 

Hampshire Admissions team will also be extending their opening times with School Admissions phone lines open between 8:30am and 7:30pm on Friday 16th, Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th April.  For data protection reasons, we can only speak to the person who submitted the application.

Please note that the school changed status from Voluntary Controlled to an Academy in September 2013 and as a result the Governing Body is the school's Admissions Authority. The process is administered by the Local Authority on our behalf.
