PSP Calendar Kicks Off With A Win!

On Tuesday of this week, our first group of sporting superstars set off to Priestlands to take part in the first inter-school event of the season. After just one session at Tri-Golf club pupils from across the school got the chance to pitch their developing chipping and putting skills against local schools in friendly competition. The afternoon saw our golfers rotate around eight different stations, each designed to test their accuracy and control with the putter and wedge. Mrs Rand was very impressed with the way both teams from MOSPS tackled every challenge with a smile while supporting and encouraging their teammates.

At the end of the afternoon, the points were tallied up and the children waited excitedly to hear where they had placed.

Our Year 4/5 team (playing in the Yr 5/6 competition) placed just outside the medal positions, while our Year 3/4 team took 1^st place in their competition. Mrs Rand was very proud of everyone who took part and Mr Willis is looking forward to further developing their skills and enjoyment of the game in the next club session.
