Sporting Superstars
In this most unusual of years, pupils from Yr 5 & 6 had the opportunity to end 2020 by participating in the last PSP virtual competition of the autumn term.
A team of 8 pupils from each of the three bubbles rotated around a carousel of socially distanced stations with their efforts combining to produce a 'school' score.
Mrs Robinson supported the teams at the event, which was once again run by suitably PPE'd up staff and Yr 10 pupils from Priestlands, and she reported the following:
" Knowing that their efforts were in direct competition with other local scores Yr 5/6 had great fun trying to achieve the best scores they could! The field events included speed bounce, hurdles, long jump and accuracy throw, with many of our children showing super skills and achieving high scores.
The afternoon ended with some thrilling timed races to try and gain some extra points for team MOSPS.
Raffy, Saffron and Caitlin were picked out by the PSP organisers as Extra Superstars, but I was very impressed by the effort and teamwork showed by all who took part - I thought they were ALL real sporting superstars! Well done everyone!"
Thank you to everyone who took part and represented our school so well and thanks to Mrs Robinson for cheering our superstars on!
