Three Little Pigs
Last half term we were learning about the Three Little Pigs.
We started this topic by looking at the big bad wolf. We did some fantastic sentences to describe the wolf including his big sharp claws and big pointy teeth.
We then moved onto learning the story of the Three Little Pigs. We used Talk4Writing to help us remember the order of the story. We learnt different actions and use pictures to help us write the sentences and made sure we were using our phonics, full stops and capital letters.
After having read the story of the Three Little Pigs quite a few times, we decided we all found the ending a little boring. We therefore decided to rewrite the ending to make it far more exciting. W had some fantastic ideas including the wolf falling into ice and freezing.
Finally it was time to write our own Three Little Pig books. The finished results were very impressive!
