Milford-on-Sea Church of England Primary School Academy Trust

We 'CARE' Courage, Aspire, Respect, Explore

Welcome

Welcome to Milford-on-Sea Church of England Primary School Academy Trust

We are a successful and popular primary school set on the edge of the beautiful Hampshire coast and the New Forest National Park.

If you come to visit "MOSPS", you will experience a school that is safe, caring and an exciting place to learn. With our "We CARE" ethos, we put the child at the centre of everything we do and value well-being and character education, alongside academic success, we strive to be COURAGOUS in our learning, ASPIRE to be the best we can be, have RESPECT for ourselves and each other, and EXPLORE the world around us.

The team here strive for consistently outstanding outcomes that allow MOSPS pupils to be ambitious and achieve their dreams. Pupils leave here ready for secondary school and beyond, having experienced a broad and rich curriculum with opportunities to excel in sports, music, arts and languages.

Our school is grounded in Christian values and we are proud that our pupils have a growing moral sense of their responsibility and identity in the world.

Our aim is to be a school that confidently stands on the global stage – not afraid to tackle big issues and ready to make change. We have global learning threaded through our curriculum and staff and pupils are proud to hold the ‘Eco-Schools Green Flag Award’, as well as being part of the ‘Freedom to Learn Sister Schools Project’, paired with Kushadevi School in Nepal.

Learning doesn’t just happen in the classroom at MOSPS. With out Outdoor Learning philosophy, we make best use of our spacious outdoor areas such as: ‘Little Wood’ (our on site Forest School area), the school garden and our Eco Pod, and for those in year 5 and 6, our amazing coastline through our Beach School programme. Trips and extra-curricular activities also form part of our exciting topic based curriculum.

Staff love teaching at MOSPS and are happy and proud to work at this school. A feeling that is infectious to all pupils and visitors alike.

Our website aims to give you a picture of our school, as well as providing you with updated information on all that is going on at MOSPS.

We hope you enjoy visiting the pages on our website and taking a virtual tour of our school, but remember the door is always open if you would like to visit in person - just call 01590 642945 to arrange a visit.
