The Queen's Hat

We read the book 'The Queen's Hat'. The children were fascinated by the sights and landmarks in London and thoroughly enjoyed the story. We explored adjectives, possessive apostrophe, onomatopoeia and sentence structure. The children then planned and wrote their own stories called 'The Queen's Crown' their stories included a shiny, golden crown that whooshed its way to Milford on Sea. They were great mini MOSPS authors!
