PRAYER SPACE
Choosing a date for an outside event is always a bit risky, but this week the weather has been glorious. Looking its summer best, the school garden was transformed into a Prayer Space for the week. With various activities to enjoy and places for silent and personal reflection, the Prayer Space has given children an opportunity to pray for world issues, to consider their hopes for the world, to praise God for the beauty of the natural world and to pray for themselves. Here are some comments children have made: ‘The Prayer Space is amazing. It’s quiet and a great area to be quiet with God.’
‘It is a really calm and relaxing place.’
‘I like how peaceful it is and how calm it is.’
‘The Prayer Space is good because it is a place to relax and none of your worries bother you.’
The Prayer Space will be open during the Summer Fair.
