Year 3/4 Sportshall Athletics
A team of year 3/4 children participated in this year's Sportshall Athletics event held at Testwood Sports College. The Saturday event was particularly well-attended, with 21 teams participating in total and our team finishing in a very respectable 8th place.
The children each took part in running, jumping and throwing events. These included one and two lap races, team relays, standing long jump, ball push, speed bounce and target throw.
Despite the daunting number of competitors and a wall-to-wall sea of spectators, everyone performed exceptionally well under pressure against tough competition and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Well done to you all!
