Dear Parents/Carers,
Following two years of Teacher Assessment due to the school closures caused by the COVID 19, last year saw a return to national assessments at KS2 . The Education Secretary advised schools that there would be no modifications to the tests, or changes to the timetable in response to the unprecedented circumstances brought about by the pandemic, but that the results should not be compared to attainment data from 2019 when formal national assessments were last administered.
