The last two years have been rather unusual in terms of national assessments. Due to the school closures brought about by the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Education Secretary cancelled the Key Stage 2 SATS scheduled for May 2020 and those scheduled for May 2021. As such, the information on this page, though dating from 2019, is the most recent national standardised data held by our school.
School Performance 2019
I am delighted to share our 2019 results with you. The school has achieved well across the board and maintained consistently high standards, while delivering a rich, broad and engaging curriculum for all!
Results indicate that the percentage of Y6 pupils achieving Age Related Expectation are above in all subjects. The number of pupils achieving the higher standard (GD) in reading, writing, maths is also above national.
This success has been achieved across the whole school, with the number of children achieving expected standard in EYFS, KS1 and Phonics all being above national average in all subjects.
As you may be aware we received congratulations from the Minister of Schools Standards last year, for our phonics results being in the top 9% of all primary schools in the country and we have once again maintained this high standard. This success in teaching phonics and early reading ensures that our pupils become increasingly fluent, able to tackle the demands of the curriculum and develop a life-long love of reading.
A huge congratulations to our pupils and staff!
