We 'CARE' Courage, Aspire, Respect, Explore
Amazing Animals
This term we have been learning ALL about animals!
We first came up with how we thought we could sort animals, for example:
- Diet
- Habitat
- Number of legs
- Colour
- Size
We then put our scientific hats on and found out we could group them into:
- Mammals
- Reptiles
- Amphibians
- Birds
- Fish
- Insects
We also had a very exciting visit from The New Forest Park Authority and found out all about different animals who live in the New Forest. We found out that animals have different diets and can be carnivores, herbivores or omnivores. We also got to touch some interesting artefacts from the Forest too.
We have also found out that we are animals too - we belong to the mammal group. We use our senses to learn all about the world around us.
