Christmas Decoration Sculptures

In this Art unit, we have been investigating SCULPTURE!

 

We were really lucky to have a visit from local sculptor Michael Turner who very kindly brought some of his sculptures into school to share with us. We got to ask him lots of questions about his work and even discovered that lots of his work is made using recycled metal. 

 

We tried making sculptures from lots of different materials and investigated different ways of joining materials together. 

 

This inspired us to create our own Christmas decoration sculptures made from recycled materials - we think they look pretty fabulous!
