Roman Gladiator Workshop
On Thursday 3rd March 2022, Year 3/4 were extremely lucky to receive a visit from a Roman Gladiator called Lucius Felix Silvanus. The children learnt about the legacy of the Romans, the weaponry used in battle and the reasons why the Romans were so successful at conquering other countries. The children were fully immersed in the Roman experience and got to see and try on Roman artefacts, act out a Roman battle and dual. They had an amazing time and are very excited to continue on with our Roman topic this half term.
