Science Week 2019
During British Science Week, we all explored some of the amazing things that can happen - all because of Science. While KS1 had a fizzing time with bicarbonate of soda and vinegar, Years 3 and 4 had fun making Balloon Kebabs, (yes, it really is possible!); pulling an egg into a bottle without touching it and inflating a balloon purely from the effects of warm air. Watching some of these experiments live in the closing assembly, you’d have been forgiven for thinking we’d stumbled into the world of Harry Potter but, as Mrs Austin kept reminding us, ‘It’s not magic, it’s science!’
We all had lots of fun and plenty of ‘wow’ moments throughout the week.
