Volvo Ocean Race

The children have been learning all about the Volvo Ocean Race and the impact of plastic pollution in the oceans. We found out about different types of plastic- some can be recycled and some can not! We counted how many plastic items we could find in our classroom and we could not believe it. We thought about the importance of reusing non-recyclable plastic and made some interesting sea creatures to remind us of the danger plastic poses to marine life.
