The Rhythm of the Rain
Last half term, as part of our rivers topic, Year 3/4 children read a book called 'The Rhythm of the Rain' by Grahame Baker-Smith.
Class 6 thoroughly enjoyed diving into this book - starting with a setting description, then writing an explanation text based on the water cycle, after this we wrote diary entries as if we were Isaac's jar of water on a journey around the world and then finishing up with a book review. The children produced some fantastic work during this topic.
