Marvellous Maths

Maths Week 2021

 

 

We had a great time celebrating Maths week. We delved into Maths through stories and one of the books we read was called 'The Lion's Share'. Through this story we investigated how much as a fraction each animal got to eat of the cake. The children were really excited when they began to find patterns in the fractions and there was lots of hushed discussion so as not to give the game away to others. They really enjoyed exploring Maths through stories.
