Oakhaven Fundraising
Year 3/4 Pull In The Pounds In A Fantastic Fundraising Effort
Earlier in the year each class was given £10 and told to turn it into as much money as they could for our local charity, Oakhaven Trust. Well, classes 6, 7 and 8 had totally different ideas and their creativity raised a great deal of cash. Class 7 spent their ten pounds on prizes for a Mothers' Day Raffle; Class 8 made friendship bracelets to sell and Class 6 tie-dyed items of clothing and sold them on stalls at the end of the school day. It was a brilliant effort all round and showed how it really can be FUNdraising!
