Here We Are
Here we are!
We started the year by exploring this book by Oliver Jeffries.
We started by thinking about where we live, where we go to school and that we are all here together. We made a map of our school by taking photographs and matching them to different areas.
Next we thought carefully about planet Earth and what we can see in the sky, on land and under the sea.
We listened to the song 'What a Wonderful world' by Louis Armstrong and wrote our own verses. The world really is wonderful!
We then wrote a class poem based on 'Out and About' by Shirley Hughes.
To finish our learning we wrote a guide for living on planet Earth.
