The children in Year 5 were very excited to be invited to the church to take part in an Easter workshop. On arrival at church, there were a lot of exciting stations set-up which told the different parts of Jesus’ last days. Over the afternoon, the children moved around the stations and looked at the messages each part of the story was giving for example communion and how this symbolises sharing. As well as this they also got to make prayer bracelets and said prayers for people in their family, the local community and the world, make clay models and write hopes and dreams for themselves or others. They all had a wonderful afternoon and showed kindness, respect and courage throughout. Thank you to Tasha, Rebecca and the church volunteers for providing this great workshop.
