World Book Day
World Book Day 2023
We had a great day celebrating World Book Day. Our morning began by carrying out a 'Speed Reading' activity. This involved moving around to different books in the classroom and looking at the front cover, reading a couple of pages and deciding if we would 'Love it or Leave it.' We then began our Y5/6 'Read All About It' blog. This blog will be used for recommended reads and talk about books. We can't wait to look on it again soon to see what our next book can be, After this, we entered the fractions art museum and shared a book called 'Fractions in Disguise'. Following this we had to find a missing fraction by simplifying a range of exhibits.
The afternoon continued with more fun and an exciting visit from an author. We all had a really wonderful day!
