Hinduism - Our visit from a Hindu guest
Year 3/4 Hindu Visit
As part of our RE topic of Karma, Year 3/4 had an exciting visit from Krishna.
We had the opportunity to explore Hindu artefacts and to dress up in traditional saris, prayer shawls and turbans.
Krishna showed us a welcoming dance and told us about traditional beliefs such as reincarnation and karma. We listened to music and reflected upon the similarities and differences between Hinduism and Christianity.
The children were fascinated by the cultural differences, asked interesting questions and really demonstrated the MOSPS value of respect. What a fantastic morning!
