Homework in Year 3/4
In Year 3/4, children are set weekly Homework using our online learning platforms. This usually alternates between:
- MyMaths and Spelling Shed
- Times Tables Rock Stars and Spelling Shed
Your child's Homework will be set by the teacher who teaches them for that particular lesson so please contact them if you have any questions.
Please note: Times Tables Rock Stars is available at all times for children to log in and practise their times tables if they would like to.
You will receive an email via Arbor each week to let you know what Homework has been set.
In addition to the online platforms, children are expected to read each week (at least three times). We ask that an adult signs their Reading Record Weekly and that you continue to listen to your child read aloud as often as you can.
Occasionally, we will set project based Homework in addition to or instead of the normal Maths, Spelling and Reading.
