Fire Fire!

KS1 had an exciting visit from the Fire Service! When the fire engine arrive the children could not wait to jump in and learn all about fire safety.

First, the children had an interesting introduction to the work of the fire crew and the importance of having a working fire alarm.

The children put on their safety jackets and a helmet, ready for action. We took turns turns driving to an emergency using a simulator which the children found really exciting.
The children even got to practise using the fire hose to put out a pretend fire.
