Amazing Animals
During our Amazing Animal topic we learnt all about how to classify animals based on characteristics.
We looked in detail at the main animal kingdoms: mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish and invertebrates (minibeasts!). We also grouped them by what they eat - whether they were herbivores, omnivores or carnivores.
When we looked into minibeasts, we also went on a habitat hunt in the school grounds to investigate where certain creatures live and why.
We've explored our senses and the names and functions of parts of the human body, too!
