History - Romans
Romans in Britain
We began our exciting Roman topic by creating a timeline showing when and where the Romans invaded. We then looked at the pattern of Roman invasion across Europe and where the Roman Empire was in AD 476. After seeing how far and wide the Romans invaded, we looked at why they might have been so successful. Next, we investigated the three Roman invasions of Britain and compared their similarities and differences and finally we researched Boudicca and found out about what she did. We have really enjoyed learning about the Romans.
