History - Mary Anning
Our history topic has been all about Mary Anning. We learnt about her life and the important people in her life. The children thought particularly about the sad and happy parts of her life and created an emotion graph to represent this. They put the people in her life in order from most important and they had to explain their reasons for their choices. We learnt about her archaeological discoveries and their importance in our history and the challenges she faced as a woman. They were able to discover more about all of this through an exciting and engaging drama workshop which they all loved and had a lot of fun with!
