Poles Apart Spring 1
Our new topic this term takes us to the coldest places on planet earth through the story of Poles Apart. They discover two creatures, who would never meet in real life, travel together from the Poles around the world. We explore using Google Earth, zooming out into space before navigating the globe to find different places visited by the polar bear and penguin family. The children love this story and created some fantastic artwork, made their own Arctic Den at home and discovered so much about the polar regions, and the creatures that live on land, ice and in the sea.
