Coastal Art
As part of our Coasts Topic, we created costal art sculptures using clay. First we learnt about the history of clay. Then we were shown different tools to use and the purposes of these tools. After this we learnt a lot of different skills we would need in order to be successful with our sculptures such as: wedging, rolling, squeezing, smoothing, scratching and score and slip. We used these skills on a practice piece of clay. We then sketched a design and Finally made our sculptures.
