Geography - Himalayas in Nepal
This half term the children have been learning about the Himalayas in Nepal. The children have explored where the Himalayas are in the world including which ocean and continent Nepal and the Himalayas are in and what the highest mountains are, including where they are found. We compared Nepal to English traditions and why people visit Nepal.
The children had a wonderful talk with Miss Walton and asked her questions about her time in Nepal. The children looked at the special objects in her box and learnt about why there were important to the people in Nepal.
