RE- Pentecost
At the beginning of our cycle of enquiry, we explored the word special and what it meant to us. We developed this thinking into exploring special events. We looked at a range of special events that happen around the world and within the Christian religion before thinking about special events in our own lives.
We revisited the Easter story and then heard the story of what happened after Jesus rose from the dead. This story is known as Pentecost. We heard how the Holy Spirit appeared to the disciples and we acted this out in small group. To celebrate Pentecost, we made cards for our local church that we gave when we visited.
