Winchester Leavers Service!
Year 6 had a wonderful time on their Leavers’ trip to Winchester Cathedral. They began the day with a creative workshop, where they played OuiSi: a visual game that had many elements including making links, creating new creatures and finally creating their own game cards. A self-guided tour of the cathedral followed, where pupils were fascinated by the stunning architecture and rich history. The highlight for many was seeing their own artwork displayed as part of a combined diocese installation. It was a proud and memorable moment for everyone. Finally, the day ended with a service inside the cathedral where the children came together with many other schools to sing and celebrate. The trip was a perfect way to celebrate the end of their primary school journey and reflect on all they’ve achieved.
