Y6 Priestlands Visit
On Tuesday, our Year 6 pupils had the exciting opportunity to visit the local secondary school for a special Open Morning. The morning began with a warm welcome from staff, followed by the chance to take part in some real lessons! In science, pupils donned goggles to conduct simple experiments, sparking plenty of enthusiasm and wonder. Later, the drama session had everyone up on their feet, taking part in a fun game with some ex-Milford pupils. Next up was a guided tour of the school. From the science labs to the sports hall, the children were fascinated to see the wide range of facilities and to get a real feel for the layout and daily life at secondary school. To finish the visit, everyone gathered in the library for a well-earned drink and biscuit, giving the children time to chat about their favourite moments and ask more questions. The Year 6 team were so proud of how confidently and enthusiastically the children took part in the morning. They returned to school buzzing with excitement and with lots to look forward to as they prepare for this exciting next step.
